Volunteer-run organisations face a particular challenge: they need professional communication, but have neither a budget for licences nor time for IT. Many therefore reach for free services and pay with the data of their members and supporters.

The mini account

Anyone who helps out on a voluntary basis needs a proper organisation address, the shared calendar and the address list, but rarely much storage. That’s exactly what the mini account is for: the same mailbox on a smaller scale, without its own file storage. Encrypted email is included here too, we don’t cut corners on that.

For every full mailbox, one mini account is free, from 100 full mailboxes two, from 1,000 three. Only what goes beyond that costs 0,50 to 1,00 € per account per month. Twelve full accounts thus bring twelve mini accounts for free. Whether they are held by paid staff or volunteers makes no difference.

Quick check-ins, groups and channels for projects, without private mobile numbers. Anyone who joins later can read back what was discussed.
