Identity & structure
The heart of Connecteeva is not the individual service, but what connects them: one central identity for your whole organisation, an administration that mirrors your organisational structure, and the whole layer sits in Germany, in your hands.
The problem
In many systems there are only two roles for administration: administrator or user. If you want the local branch to work on its own, you would have to hand it the keys to the entire federation, or route everything through a central IT team that carries out every task itself. Neither fits an organisational structure that has grown over time.
On top of that comes fragmentation: email here, cloud there, chat somewhere else, each with its own login, its own user list, its own way of removing people. When someone leaves, they have to be removed in eight places; in the end no one knows who has access to what. Both problems share the same root: no common identity and no administration that knows your structure.
Central identity
Every person has exactly one identity at Connecteeva: sign in once and all booked services are open. No second password, no reset over the phone.
Sign in once and mailbox, calendar, files, chat and video are open, set up the same way for everyone.
Connecteeva can be the central sign-in service for your other programs: membership administration, accounting, in-house software. Your users still sign in only once.
Roles, rights and invitations come together in one place. When someone leaves, they are deactivated once, not separately across eight services.
Self-administration
Connecteeva maps your levels as a structure, not as a flat list. Each level administers its own accounts and passes on exactly the rights it is meant to pass on.
The local branch creates its own new office-holders, while the central office keeps the overview without having to carry out every task itself. Who may administer which level is set by the level above. And because administrative actions are logged in every account, it can later be traced who changed what and when.
In your hands
A central identity is sensitive; it is the key to everything. That is why where it sits and who can access it matters.
Identities and data sit on servers in Germany, operated by a German company with no US parent; the US CLOUD Act does not apply.
Sign-in follows open standards (including OpenID Connect and SAML). Your data is held in open formats, your domain belongs to you. A move is a DNS change, not a fresh start.
How we secure thisBecause the underlying services are open source and the identity follows open standards, you don’t make yourself dependent. Your data can be exported at any time.
How leaving worksTell us briefly how your organisation is set up: levels, roughly how many accounts, what you use today. On a trial account we’ll show you what identity and administration would look like for you.
No contract and no payment details. You decide whether it stays an enquiry or you try Connecteeva right away.
