What this website processes

This website sets no cookies. Fonts are served locally. For anonymous visitor statistics we use Umami on our own server (see below). No data is passed on to third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.

Server logs (hosting)

This website runs on czichos.net GmbH’s own servers in Germany; the Connecteeva platform itself runs in German data centres operated by ScaleUp Technologies. When you access the site, technical access data is stored automatically: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, browser type and referrer URL. This data serves solely the secure technical operation of the site and is deleted after a few days.

Visitor statistics with Umami

To see which pages are read and to improve the website, we use the open-source software Umami. We run it ourselves on a czichos.net GmbH server in Germany (stats.connecteeva.eu). The data is not passed on to any third party.

When you open a page, your browser loads a script from stats.connecteeva.eu and sends the address visited, the referrer URL, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and the country and region derived from the IP address. If you submit the contact form, we count this with the page and subject, without your entries.

Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. The IP address is not stored. To group the page views of one visit, Umami forms a hash from the IP address, the browser identifier and a random value that changes daily. This does not allow recognition beyond the day. We delete the statistics data after 13 months.

As nothing is stored on your device and only information your browser provides when loading a page anyway is used, we consider consent under Section 25 of the German TDDDG not to be required.

If you have switched on “Do Not Track” in your browser, no measurement takes place. You can also object to the measurement at any time by email to carsten@czichos.net.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to handle your enquiry. This data is not passed on to third parties and is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Contact form

Through the contact form you can request a trial or a conversation. We receive the email address you enter (required, so we can send you the login details) and, if provided, your organisation and the approximate number of accounts. We process this information solely to handle your enquiry.

The form data is sent to an in-house application run by czichos.net GmbH on the connecteeva.eu server and forwarded from there to our mailboxes by email; it is not passed on to third parties. If the form cannot be submitted for technical reasons, your email program opens instead with a pre-filled message. In that case the information on contacting us by email applies. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BlnBDI).
