Operated in Germany
The platform and secMail run in German data centres. You choose the location; the operator is always czichos.net GmbH. Who does what is set out on the security page. We don’t trade in user data.

Who’s behind Connecteeva.
Connecteeva comes from czichos.net GmbH, an ICT engineering firm in Berlin. We have been around for more than twenty years. For many years we have looked after the IT of a large German welfare association.
Origin
Built while working for an association.
In that association we see what an organisation with many branches needs. Each branch should be able to create and remove its own accounts. Member data needs special protection. And volunteers come and go without someone from IT being needed every time.
Connecteeva grew out of this work. We put the services that proved themselves there behind one shared login. That way, associations and branches without an IT department of their own can use them too.
Commitments
What you can expect from us.
Open-source software
The services are built on established open-source projects. Your data is kept in open formats and can be taken with you. The portal that connects the services we develop ourselves.
Support from us
By email, as a rule on working days from 8am to 4pm, with a call back on request. For emergencies, existing customers have a 24/7 hotline. You talk to the people who run the systems.
Who we are
A family business. At its core, father and son.
Connecteeva is carried by a small team. At its core are Carsten and Paul Czichos, father and son.
Carsten founded czichos.net GmbH and runs it. Paul advises organisations and supports their projects. The systems we talk about, we run ourselves.

The fair question
What happens to your data if something changes on our side?
czichos.net GmbH has existed for more than twenty years. Connecteeva is not our only line of business. We run it alongside the rest of our work and without venture capital.
More important is what stays independent of us. The services behind Connecteeva are established open-source software; another provider can keep running them. Your data is kept in open formats, and your domain is yours. How leaving works
