Who’s behind Connecteeva. And why we built it.
Connecteeva isn’t a start-up experiment. It’s the result of years of work with organisations that do great things every day. We’re convinced they deserve good digital tools for it.
Why we do this
Experience that comes from practice.
As the IT provider to Germany’s largest welfare association, we saw at close range what grown, federal organisational structures really need. These organisations do valuable work, and they handle sensitive data: member data that deserves particular protection. Their expectations of data protection and of a professional appearance are high. They should get good, secure technology without having to be IT experts themselves.
Connecteeva is the result of that work. Not designed on a drawing board, but grown out of day-to-day collaboration with this association. We translated what we learned into a solution that makes the same professional infrastructure accessible, without an organisation needing its own IT department.
For us this is more than a product. People who do good should be able to rely on their technology and keep their heads free for their actual work. This is a labour of love, and we want it to succeed.

The individual services are built on proven open-source projects. No proprietary shackles, no closed systems. You keep control, technically too.

czichos.net GmbH has been around for over twenty years. Connecteeva isn’t our only line of business, but the result of that work. We run it calmly alongside day-to-day operations, not on venture capital.
More important still is what you can rely on independently of us: the individual services behind Connecteeva are established open-source software. They don’t disappear with us; another provider can keep running them. The connecting portal we develop ourselves.
